Fertility & Implications Counselling

Fertility Counselling can help you at all stages of your fertility journey.   We provide a safe and nurturing space in which you can explore openly the array of emotions you are feeling in your efforts to achieve a healthy pregnancy.

Our fertility counselling approach is integrative and we work from several theoretical perspectives such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Person Centred Therapy.   We will tailor our approach depending on your unique situation combining elements of mindfulness, stress reduction techniques, coping skills, hypnotherapy, cognitive-restruction, fertility coaching and fertility education.

With the Enormous strides that have taken place in the past decade in scientific and medical advances in the assisted reproductive technologies it is little wonder that you can feel confused, out of control and out of your depth as you try to negotiate the world of investigative procedures and fertility treatments.   Evidence has shown that counselling can have a positive impact on your ability to cope with your fertility journey.   When your mind and/or body is out of balance, difficulties in conceiving can happen as your body may lose its natural harmony and equilibrium.   We will help you to regain a sense of control over your life, reduce your sense of isolation, while empowering you to work towards realising your goals and achieving greater fulfilment in life.    We also offer Implications counselling for anyone who may be considering any form of Donor Treatments.   Skype appointments are available for Fertility Counselling.

Fertile Body Method

I am a licensed Practitioner of the Fertile Body Method.  The Fertile Body Method combines hypnosis and other mind-body approaches to help identify and address the mental, emotional and physical factors which affect fertility and it also reduces the negative effects on infertility.
